The villa is spacious and has a living room and a dining room with a view of the pool and Caribbean. There is also a fully equipped kitchen on the first floor. A patio and wooden deck on the Caribbean side of the house is perfect for outdoor dining or sunbathing by the swimming pool.

House amenities For your entertainment, Balam Ek has satellite TV with movie channels, a VCR and a stereo with a CD Player. Daily maid service and a gardener are provided. A personal cook is also available upon request. The Buena Vida Restaurant and Bar is within walking distance. Dives are welcome at Balam Ek.

Bedrooms and the guest casita Balam Ek has three air conditioned bedrooms in the main house, each with a private bathroom. The master bedroom is on the second floor and has a king size bed, and an attached half bedroom with a single bed. This is a nice arrangement for parents with a small child. The second bedroom upstairs has two double beds and a single bed. Downstairs, a third bedroom has a king size bed and is closer to the swimming pool. The main house is priced for 8 adults. For groups of 10 people, a casita has an additional king size bed and sofa (which can sleep a child), also a full kitchen, living room, jacuzzi and ocean side patio.
