For those who love the open beachy feel of a Mexican beach bungalow Casa Tortuga delivers, only with greater comfort. Casa Tortuga ties inside and outside spaces together in a truely Mexican way by using native hardwood furniture, screened solid mahogany louvered windows, rainbow colored Mexican blankets and lots of traditional Mexican tile. Outside there is a wide swath of sand providing plenty of space to enjoy the beach down to the surf line. A beach palapa with several hammocks is perfect for enjoying the view of Soliman Bay from a shady vantage point. There are also chaise lounges for sun worshipers who would rather baste themselves and bake in the sun.

With 2 great outdoor shade terraces there is plenty of room to dine, socialize or relax in comfort while gazing out on the sand and sea. Both the upper level terrace and the beach level verandah run the length of the building and have enough furnishings for a group to be comfortable. There is usually a stack of chaise lounges by the outdoor beach side shower unless they have already been carried out on the sand by the sunbathers. The outdoor shower is very handy for a quick rinse after swimming, snorkeling, kayaking or tanning sessions.

The upper level is the main part of the house and has an elevated view of Soliman Bay. This is where the kitchen, indoor dining area, main living space, master bedroom and guest bedroom are all located. Families will find this arrangement convenient and comfortable since the master and guest bedrooms are air conditioned. The guest bedroom has a double bed and bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen bed and private bathroom.

On beach level are two more bedrooms. Each has one queen bed and they share a bathroom. The bathroom has two sinks, shower and purified bottled water for your convenience. Like the upper level, these two bedrooms are furnished with native hardwood furniture and Mexican blankets cover the beds.
